We're D&AD Award Winners

More big news on the awards front. Our Knowdonia project has won a coveted wood pencil in the naming category at the D&AD Awards 2022.

The D&AD Awards are the benchmark of the creative industry globally (the industry equivalent to the Oscars!), so to win is a very proud moment for us, especially being amongst so many of the industry big dogs. You can see all the winners here.

To win in the naming category is also really pleasing for us. It's often one of the more challenging (but always fun) parts of a branding project. Ensuring that a name is memorable and strategically relevant is never easy. Then there's the practical considerations of getting trademarks, domains and social handles.

Knowdonia ticked all of those boxes, and was unique in being able to acquire a .com domain and clean social handles. Yes the name featured a minor tweak, but the best ideas are often the simplest!
