University of Gloucester Talk

We were recently asked by the University of Gloucester to give a talk to their second and final year Graphic Design students, as well as take part in their industry Speed Meet sessions.

It was a great opportunity for our Design Director, Adam Cale, to go back to where his career started and share his experiences in the industry, whilst also giving an in depth talk about our rebrand of The Jockey Club.

Adam took the students through the project from start to finish, discussing the brand strategy, concept and brand refinement phases, giving the students an invaluable insight into how projects work in the industry and the hurdles faced in getting a new brand into the world.

As part of the Speed Meet sessions, Adam went through student portfolios offering feedback on projects and advice on how to enter the industry after graduation.
